Reliable but very, very slow delivery, if you order anything expect it to take at least two weeks. I ordered the latest Dave Gilmour in November knowing I was going on holiday on the 16th of December, it never arrived before I left so got my sister-in-law to check the mail while we were away, it hadn’t turned up by January so I contacted them, they sent a replacement which took over two weeks so they are good to deal with.
If you create an account with them you get points towards future purchases which is really good considering they are usually very cheap to begin with

What are Rarewaves like to deal with, reliable?

Very good for pre releases, which normally arrive (to a UK address) on or close to release day. For older releases, delivery times can be temperamental. I've had a couple that have taken 2 weeks to arrive, but I've also had some that have arrived in less than a week. Part of the issue with me is, I think, the UK postal service is shocking now. Sometimes nothing for a few days, then we get loads in a day, like they've stored it up.

As madscot says, with the reward points, cheaper prices, free delivery (in the UK) and numerous 10% off events during the year, they are definitely worth trying. I think I use them more than any other retailer now.

What are Rarewaves like to deal with, reliable?

I've not really had any problems, have ordered 3 or 4 times in recent months, and will use them again. One slight concern is that the packging is minimal. So a Tull boxset in a thin card envelope, for example, which can mean dented corners. And if the boxset has its own label-supplied packaging (like on some 12'' size SDEs), they might not use any further packaging. This is generally Ok from UK to UK but might be more of a problem if you are ordering from UK to Canada. (Having said that, I ordered a Ziggy pic disc from Rhino in the US, who don't package the Quadios very well, and the LP arrived in perfect condition.)

I recommend not buying editions in delicate boxes since they do not use adequate packaging.

Gotta bite on that Fleetwood Mac vinyl box set prerelease since both my daughters have record players in their rooms and love Fleetwood Mac. It's gonna kill me to see them ruin these beautiful clear vinyl LPs with their cheap styluses, but I just love it that we find common ground with the Mac!
