Of course....dang auto-correct! Any lasting impressions/rating?
Data from Untappd:
- Marryin' Berries I gave 5 stars, so clearly I loved it.
- Lacto Vs. Evil I gave 4 stars, so liked it a lot
- All of the Things I also gave 5 stars
- Cactus Wins the Lottery I gave 4.5 stars

These are all sours, several are Berliner Weisse. These were all of my highly rated Ex Novo beers. I've had some other styles, but rated them more like 3 stars. So I guess my opinion is they make really good sours. Decent other beers.

I may be slightly biased. This is my favorite beer.(I've done considerable research) If anyone is in Tampa in early November, I throw a big Erdinger party. Look me up!

German wheat beer. Not spicy like all the other wheats. American craft brewers can't approximate it. My elixir of life. Hasn't failed me yet. 🤣
Amazing. Erdinger is one of the better German breweries, and one that can be readily obtained in the US. I'm impressed with that collection. Weirdly enough, my Untappd only has ONE checkin from them, the Schneeweiße, which is excellent. But I know I've had a ton of their beer, as I lived in southern Germany for a year. Plus I've bought it in bottles in the US. I must go out and specifically buy some to check in on Untappd and up my beer count.

Had a disappointing experience last night. Bought a Crux Stout and was very disappointed in it. Normally I LOVE Crux. They're in my top 5 Oregon Breweries for sure. But this Stout had none of the flavor characteristics they described, but it smelled and tasted hoppy and bitter. Nope, thanks.

Like almost the exact opposite of a stout....batch went off the rails somewhere down the line?

I'm having a bomber of Stone "Mojay" hazy IPA (7.6% abv, 100 ibu). I'm a bit of a sucker for Stone stuff, it's almost always minimum vg -> vg+ so I usually grab 1 or 2 singles of the seasonal stuff that makes it over my way.

I don't think we get that German beer in the US. I've never seen it.

Small town right on the Bavarian border with Czechia. It would seem they distribute to Japan, though!

It's only on sale for a few months a year here. It might not be my favorite, but it's interesting. I usually try to pick up a bottle or two when it comes in. I just can't resist a weißbier when I come across one. ;)
