I know there's some fans of WHAM! here on the forum. So hedz up... Netflix has a new documentary premiering July 5th about the group. It's called, um, WHAM!

Although I am a huge fan of George's solo material, I never really cared for Wham all that much. But I really enjoyed this documentary. It was very well done. I came out of it with a lot more respect for Andrew Ridgeley.

20
FEET
FROM
STARDOM

*This documentary has unbelievably gotten by me somehow for 10 years.

If it doesn't give your heart a lift and bring a tear to your eye, then you truly have no sense of the soul of Rock and Pop music! (y) (y)

Playing on most streaming services.

Get ready! What We Do in the Shadows season 5 is about to emerge from the coffin!
Many spollers ahead. Proceed at your own risk:

So here's my deal. I've watched & loved the original movie many times. I've even watched the 1st season of
Wellington Paranormal. But I've seen only one eps first season of the FX What We Do in the Shadows. And, hey, it's even a standard tier cable ch for us. What's wrong with me? Having watched all the shows of Person of Interest recently that I missed while I was working, I'm thinking I could get in the groove & get caught up on Shadows. Yeah. That's what I'll do find somewhere right now to see where it is on line.

THREE THOUSAND
YEARS of LONGING

*don't believe this one did very well at the box office (covid maybe?); but I found it a lovely entertaining movie (NETFLIX.) Also, the end credits music is in Atmos with really good rear channel mix/presence- too bad I don't find it in Atmos in Apple Music, a real missed opportunity IMO.

Well this one, out on Aug. 18th - Netflix, looks different (and disturbing!)
*attn: @Sonik Wiz

Yes it does look different but I'm disturbed myself most of the time it takes a lot to unsettle me... At 1st I thought it was movie now I see it is 7 eps of unknown length. It's worth at least a one 'tini watch & see what happens. It's already on my phone calendar so thanks for the hedz up!

Okay, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" is getting a little weird; cartoons one week, a musical another, at least Mrs. Pupster is enjoying it more.

I'm really missing the anticipated grudge match with the Gorn - WTF

Special Ops: Lioness | Official Trailer | Paramount+

*I've been watching this Kick-Ass action series lately (y)

We watched the first two episodes and thought it was okay. Some of the dialogue is a little stilted, but it works as an action vehicle. I'm trying to justify keeping Paramount Plus after Strange New Worlds ended.
