Sooo quite a lot really and representing a nice investment, not for me of course but for whoever inherits when I'm dead and gone! but I'll enjoy them for as long as I can.

Hmmmm. So, I have 3 items on order from The Moose. All 3 have release date of Nov 9th. All 3 say they would ship on Nov 8th.
2 of the 3 say they have been boxed up, ready for next shipment.

Hendrix says nothing......about ready for shipment that is.

The worry wart in me wonders....is Hendrix going to be delayed (via the Moose that is)??

So, summary says The White Album and This Was are both boxed up in the que for shipment on the 8th. Hendrix...not sure yet.

So I just got the credit card charges in, so looks like amazon are about to ship off "This Was", "Electric Ladyland", and the White Album, all with an estimated delivery day on Friday! It just so happens that I have both Friday & Saturday off to listen to all these treasures!
I'll probably play the White Album first, then "Electric Ladyland", then finish with "This Was".

Then next week on the 16th I get "Hemispheres", and I'm still very excited about that one, even despite the obvious reservations about another Richard Chycki mix.
Then on Black Friday, it should be "Clutching at Straws" (from Marillion) and sometime around then I should also be receiving "Sunburst Finish" from Be-Bop Deluxe.
Finally, I did order "Home Invasion" on Burning Shed from Steven Wilson, but regardless of when I receive it, I'm not planning on watching that until after his December 10th show here in Nashville.

Oh wait, and I still need to buy the "Bitches Brew" SACD at some point too!

:)

They are still available here...but I know you like to deal with amazon here

That's a much better price on Amazon now than when I bought it originally . . . oh well, wait too long, and you are searching for rarities (amazed that the S&G is now listed as "rare" on the Moose!).

It was higher on amazon in the pre order stage because no 3rd party sellers were on there yet....not surprised about S&G on the Moose...but it is in stock at Music Direct...Elusive Disc...and Acoustic Sounds..

I think it has been mentioned already before, but I think tomorrow is definitely without a doubt the biggest surround day of the year with "This Was", "Electric Ladyland" and the White Album all dropping tomorrow.
It's one of the biggest days we have had in the last few years.
The only other day in recent memory I can think of that was just as big was last year on December 1st with the release of the "Eye in the Sky" and "A Farewell to Kings" box sets.
Both of those mixes were outstanding, so I'm equally hoping that all three of these mixes tomorrow are knockouts!

Also it's interesting that each major label has a dog in the fight tomorrow.
"This Was" falls under Warner Music, "Electric Ladyland" falls under Sony Music, and The White Album falls under Universal Music.
I can't wait to receive all three tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to finding out which one is the best!

:)

Amazon has sent me notice that Electric Lady has shipped and is expected to arrive tomorrow. We shall see! This is my most anticipated mix since Songs From The Wood! I am trying to keep expectations low, because we know these things can go well or poorly, but even just the bonus tracks for this one should be enough to keep me thrilled.

Come to papa!

WOW!!!!!!

Well Jimi is arriving Friday I got the notification. Tull has been shipped but its coming from amazonUk so that will be awhile. I preordered the Be Bop Deluxe package but don't think that shipped. I have a jazz surround sacd on the way thanks to Beerkings recommendation. and the Kinks Village Green 2cd is coming too.
I will probably cave and order the white album too after some reviews. The thing is I have listened to the white album outtakes on the Beatles anthology volume 3 and am just not impressed with the Esher demos....they were never meant to be released they are song writing ideas. Georges demos were better on that disc. I will be more interested in hearing reviews of the alternate session versions and of course the surround.
