Bernard Allison, Larry McCray, Carl Weathersby, & Lucky Peterson - Triple Fret. Hybrid 5.1 SACD, really nice Blues a la Robert Cray, good sound quality, liked the 5.1 mix.
Jimmy Witherspoon - Big Blues. Hybrid 5.1 SACD, nice jazz/blues, again good sound quality, 'discrete' 5.1 mix, which makes good use of the centre speaker.

Yes that's a great one. The JSP SACDs have been very well done, I'm trying to mop up the ones I haven't got. Triple Fret cost me £25 but worth it.

crikey Triple Fret's gone up in price.. I don't have it yet but last time I looked it was about £12! Looks like I shouldn't have hesitated!

O these JSPs, I have Buddy Guy, Witherspoon and Triple Fret. What others besides Guitar Shorty are worth going after?

Genuinely all of them, Carey Bell/Harpslinger, Byther Smith/Addressing the nation & Lowell Fulson/Think Twice B4 U Speak are great too. The Hubert Sumlin (hyped on the front cover by E.C., JP etc.) is probably the most disappointing though it's still far from bad.

I ordered the last couple of remaining JSP's I didn't have while I still could (last copies of each on Amazon UK; Black Gold Goddesses Bold, James & Lucky Peterson.. I guess these are finally selling out.. though Deittra Farr still seems plentiful which is odd as she's rather good.

Thanks! I've ordered all but Sumlin and Shorty; which are in funny money territory. Lookin' forward to some blues!

Leonard Bernstein - West Side Story (SACD)
Rambient - So Many Worlds (DVD-A)
XTC - Nonsuch (DVD-A)
Yes - Close to the Edge (BluRay)
Yes - Close to the Edge (DVD-A)
Josh One - Narrow Path (DVD-A, DualDisc)
Nosound - Lightdark (DVD-A)
Bryan Ferry - Boys and Girls (SACD)
Van Morrison - Moondance (BluRay)
The Gloria Record - The Gloria Record / A Lull in Traffic (DVD-A)

I also finished my record list at www.recohan.net (German). While adding records to it I found that there are many disc at very good prices in the German Marketplace - sometimes even a few Euro cheaper than what I once paid (what I thought was already a good deal). For everybody located in Europe it may be worth to browse.

Picked up my stash of music from my niece in Seattle last week including the last few Audio Fidelity SACDs:

Poco - Pickin' Up the Pieces
America - America
Rush - Hemispheres
Sarah McLachlan - Touch
Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy
Boz Scaggs - Boz Scaggs

From the SH Marketplace:

Albert King/SRV - In Session

On the way from Audio Basics, all MoFi SACD:

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
The Kinks - Low Budget
Little Richard - Here's Little Richard

They were a bit pricey at just over $40 each but they are OOP and free shipping.

Just received The Doors-LA Woman on DVD-Audio. I know you can get this in multiple formats but I just love the DVD-audios the most. I was such a fool not to buy all these back in the early 00s. Now I have to hunt for them but hey thrills in the chase, right.

I've also got a line on possibly new DVD-audios of Morph the Cat and Harvest. I want to see if one shows as shipped before I post where to find it on here and waste everyone's time.

Not sure about the mix on this one yet. Need a few more listens...
