Would/Should Netflix Stream Surround Audio-Only Content?

Actually, there is almost no streaming of multichannel classical but there is a lot of multichannel classical download material.

Interesting idea, much more so than stereo or mono, either of which I would not give the time of day, ever.

As for streaming sites, Netflix is an obvious option, as is Amazon.

There is also Prime Seat. They already stream in Stereo DSD 256.
Which suggests that streaming in 4 Channel, DSD 64 could also be accommodated with their technology....

Math works out to 4-channel 128fs and up to 8-channel 64fs. I imagine they're using DST compression.

An example was when I was on a panel entitled "DSD: The Cutting Edge" at the LA Audio Show last year.

Perhaps the market isn't as big as it is in the US.
