The new Movie Report be will included in the next Beta. This is the PDF report exported from MMH and copied onto my iPad (then screen captured). The new Report has additional data imported from my Kodi NFO files (xml):

I will create two Movie Reports, one like this when users have the NFO files, and another simpler one without Cast, Director, Genre, IMDB rating and Plot summary.

When finished the TV Series Report will look similar to this. Two Reports needed.

I will add Duration and Genre to the Music Report when I get a chance, but I’ve other comments over next couple of days. So probably just one more Beta release tomorrow, then a couple days break.

A new Beta 11 installer has just been uploaded:
https://reva.blob.core.windows.net/mmh8/ReportingBeta/MMHInstaller.msi

Changes from previous Beta 10:
New Music Report now has Genre and Album Duration
New Movie Report (first working release) - as shown in previous post but with text aligned correctly
Some code optimisation when Scanning Movies data (NFO and Images)

It's working well! Using this tool I see a lot of tagging errors I made
🙈. Now it's easy to tidy up my lib because I see what is wrong.

Some observations using beta9:

Comment is not stored from CUE files, when it looks like:
REM COMMENT "4824, 7.1 Atmos TrueHD"
Probably the "" are a problem?

But REM GENRE "Rock"
is working as Rock in Genre.

In a DTS-CD CUE file that belongs to a single DTS-CD.wav file
REM GENRE ROCK is not working. Genre is empty. There are no "".

REM DATE 1982
works as well using no "".

A question: what happens when I scan again? Are the tags stored a second time in MMH's database? Or will the database be overwritten by the new scan results?

I use Plex for movies. What is the best way to get the info and posters for local recall, Tiny Media Manager?

I will check this out. EDIT: A coding error ‘REM COMMENT’ was being written to Genre. You will need to fix that with the next MMH beta when it’s released. @M-K

A Scan always rebuilds the selected Source Type data (deletes everything in Music if Music is selected),then does a complete re-read if all Music folders and files.

A Refresh only finds Changed folders and files and updates the existing data in the selected Source Type (Music if Music is selected). The Refresh button is the small square a ‘refresh’ icon. Refresh also finds new, renamed and changed folders (and files in folders).

I’m not sure. What’s in your Plex music folders? Are there existing nfo files. Does Plex have its own database? I know nothing about it.

Plex scans everything but doesn't store the info locally. It just stores everything in its own database.

Thanks, while I’m still awake dealing with my cat chucking up everywhere at 2:00am I was doing a little web surfing and that seemed to be the opinion.

To get all that extra data use tinymediamanager, there are options to use Kodi formatting for the nfo files it creates and for image naming. Have a play it’s pretty fast but it may need some user input if it can’t find the exact movie release. It looks at file name and any tags if it’s a MKV or MP4 file (if any).

Give it a go it does not change any media files (no tagging ) it stores everything in its own small db and auto creates nfo files for Kodi (and now MMH) and of course downloads images for Poster, Fanart and actors. Use the free 5.0.13 (current version).

It seems to be working very well.
