Just had an email from IAN Records with https://ianrecords.com/products/onyx-klavierduo-souvenirs

From New York via Amsterdam to Paris and Vienna – on their debut album, the Onyx Piano Duo combines well-known piano works for four hands with exciting discoveries: the journey begins with Samuel Barber's Souvenirs Op. 28, followed by Leo Smit's Divertimento and finally leads via Maurice Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye to W. A. Mozart's Sonata in C major K521. The two pianists' captivating joy of playing makes these interpretations a very special experience!

What could you have missed if you didn't visit QQ last week?

Previous omissions first - Onyx Klavierduo (rather typical IAN Records product) and the complete Beethoven symphonies set (5SACD+2BD-A, talk about value for money) are added to the list now.

Another big box set is to arrive with David Bowie material, unfortunately the surround portion is limited only to already released 5.1 mix of Ziggy Stardust.

Next, there's finally a couple of titles from the Cherry Red label, all announced for 31st May: firstly, a reissue of the Hackett&Squire Squackett project, apparently with the old 5.1 mix, but this time in lossless format on BD-A. And then the first two Howard Jones albums, mixed by @Stephen W Tayler and with Atmos bonus tracks by Bob Clearmountain.

As for downloads, this time IAA offers an improvised live soundtrack inspired by the animated film The Red Turtle - Arthur King's UMN is available in both Dolby Atmos and QUARK FLAC format.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this for addition to the list but my studio project Look To Windward will be releasing their 3rd album 'The Last Scattering Surface' on May 31st. A Blu-ray with stereo and 5.1 mixes as well as a full length animated 'visual album' is planned; pre-orders will be done through a Kickstarter campaign.

The first single 'When You Go Away' is coming April 26th and I will be releasing the 5.1 mix for it too.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Stop Making Sense 4K makes it to A24’s website. A24 tweeted that the pre-order would be part of the special merch available at theaters for the re-release of the movie on 1/27. People asked if pre-orders would be available outside of the theater, and they did not respond.
It hit Kaleidescape yesterday.

I've been away from the forum for a while. Just came back to find (and place orders for) these:

Vagabonds of the Western World

Moon Safari

Jagged Little Pill

The Best of the Doors

Rumours

Paranoid

Machine Head 50

The latest round of additions to your shopping list:

@Mr. Afternoon's post has reminded me of two Japan-only easter eggs: one being a re-issue of Eiichi Otaki's album Each Time, the other one a SACD single with a Final Fantasy theme song No Promises to Keep by Loren Allred.

#21 in SDE series is Keane's Hopes and Fears, with both Atmos and (a new) 5.1 mix by David Kosten.

Another four BD-A discs are coming from Rhino, but this time with Atmos (and some also 5.1) mixes: Hootie & The Blowfish and Alanis Morissette are already in stock, Fleetwood Mac and The Doors (the 19-track best of!) follow later this month.

2L's latest SACD/BD-A combo, MOR by Nidaros domkor, will arrive early May.

QQ member @LTW is set to release his third album, The Last Scattering Surface, in late May, both digitally and on blu-ray, backed by an upcoming Kickstart campaign.

Finally, the second Atmos download in the Beggars Group series is the latest album by Queens of the Stone Age. Sadly, the deal is limited to US territories, so you might encounter a redirect notice.

The month of May is going to kick off on a strong footing!

This week’s big reveal was Quadio, batch #4: Donny Hathaway, Roberta Flack, Hot Tuna and Seals & Crofts are set to hit Rhino online store on May 4.

A day before that, Ian Thomas’ new album How We Roll is coming as CD+BD-A combo with Atmos mix by the artist himself, and so is a concert footage Sanctuary - Live at Newbury by Robert Reed & Friends.

Man from Manhattan by Eddie Howell & Freddie Mercury is out next Friday and the vinyl box set includes a QR code for an Atmos download. The question here is, will the track be available on streaming services?

Lastly, IAA adds Atmos download of another two tracks off Santpoort’s upcoming album Maybe Not Tomorrow.

Thanks for the inclusion @haikubass!

The stream of news doesn't seem to stop, here are the additions from the last week.

As for the bigger box sets, the newly announced are: Al Stewart’s Past, Present & Future and Bursting Out by Jethro Tull, while the release of that mysterious Quadio box has been moved to next Friday, April 19!

The unexpected titles are both #22 in the SDE series, Luther Vandross’s Never Too Much, which is already in stock (the release has reportedly been a year in the making!) and then also Louise Patricia Crane, but here with contributions from a whole host of prog rock names led by Jakko M. Jakszyk.

Finally, the obligatory Atmos downloads - IAA now offers Michael William Gilbert - Enhanced Surround(ings) and, most importantly, the 3rd entry in the Beggars Group series, Everyone's Crushed by Water From Your Eyes (U.S. Territories only).
