How the heck did I miss this???? I really hope that they do more of the BS Paranoid one, I really want that one.

No one can say now “There’s no market for Surround or physical media.” Hopefully, it’s just a matter of that we unexpectedly blew everything up with all our orders. And we can clean out Warner’s vaults of Quad titles, because we showed them interest in quality music. So, I can wait for the rest of the order. Just let us know the score when the dust settles.

I never would say that! Problem with multichannel is it's been more difficult to deal with in the past. But, I think using standard DVD or Blu-Ray formats are a good thing, that way someone just dabbling can still play it on their home theater system and get good results, and those more serious can go from there. SACD sadly was a non starter and I've never been able to get multi-channel FLACs to work for me although I haven't spent much time troubleshooting. But from unwrapping the first disc to enjoying sound took me a couple minutes, and most of that is because my HT takes a while to boot into the "Play Blu-Ray" activity mostly because of needing a couple 10 second delays to work properly.

Would I like a multi-channel USB DAC? sure... but my Oppos won't do that and using a HDMI (actually DisplayPort to HDMI adapter) connection to try to play 5.1 did not work for me.

Anyone in the UK received theirs yet? I've been away for a week and was hoping for a nice surprise when I got back. The Suede album from sde is a 2nd prize

Not got them yet but according to tracking one package got on the plane on Wednesday and another package got on a plane yesterday so looks like not only is my “ bundle “ coming in two packages they are not even travelling together

I was hoping to have to avoid using sticks, I was attempting to use a laptop to the HDMI input (I have a 105 and 205) to play the files and then the Oppo was connected to the tape loop of my receiver (either a Sansui QR-7001 or Marantz 4270)

This works great for a Roku, Fire Stick, etc. (I was actually running HDMI sources through a 5 port HDMI switch, again, works great - this was basically me using a quad receiver as an AVR in my bedroom) but for some reason wouldn't play the FLAC files I had. I have not had the free time to get my priority list clean enough to mess with it more however. :/

Nope. I only ordered the Quad bundle from Rhino. After this fiasco, I doubt I'll ever order from them again

I got that exact message back during the Doobie Brothers Quadio box shipping fiasco.

Can’t remember what the issue was with the Chicago set but I did note on my budget tracker that shipping was delayed.

I love that Rhino still is invested in the Quadio series but I really wish there wasn’t such a long period of hibernation between offerings.

As for the shipping logistics, I doubt they are ever gonna figure that out. Hell, even the UK’s Fish has got it sorted out better and that guy always seems to catch the unlucky break on stuff.

I've had family issues in the last week and have not been online much. I saw the releases once and when I got back yesterday, it said sold out for Paranoid (the one I want). Did I miss my shot at getting it?

EDIT: Nevermind, after searching I managed to preorder on Warner Music Canada (with cheaper shipping since I'm in Canada). I say preorder because the release date is July 7th.

I received mine from Warner Canada today. I got no shipping notice.

This must explain why some of us only have 2 of the 4 discs so far. Seems to me the California center really does not have their shit together.
