4 New Quadio releases coming in June!

I quite enjoyed the two Joni Mitchell Archive Series, but Warner advises they have no plans to do more, so no chance of Quadios included there. Hopefully we'll see a Quadio boxset or individual Quadio releases soon.

I got the rest of the bundle (Red Octopus, BDB, Nightmares) yesterday. Paranoid came separately last Friday. Everything looks good, no damaged cases. But I didn’t receive any email delivery notifications from Rhino. I only got an Order confirmation on the day I ordered and I found that in the Spam folder. I wasn’t able to do any tracking, either. Anyway, I hope everyone gets their order safely. I guess the international mail service is still dealing with slow delivery.

A lot of us never received any shipping notification or tracking information. I got the order confirmation when I ordered them and saw the charge to my account, but that was it. They just showed up.

That’s exactly what I was afraid of, one or both of the missing/late discs would go out of stock before they figured things out.

But they do figure things out, all it takes is an email to and from the stock room to distribution saying we are sending another 1,500 or 2,000 units of that title, should have them by Friday. Something along those lines should suffice.

That is until the pressing run has completely sold out and they must either press more, or call it a success and move onto the next set of Quadios.

Of course the snoozers can always pick one up on eBay. so all hope is not lost even when they are bone dry out of stock at fulfillment.

Yeah, tracking and notifications are not so great internationally. But I'm thrilled to hear about folks all over the world getting their Quadio discs, and liking or loving them. UK, Germany, Holland, Japan, and the US etc. - so we can all listen together and bask in the glory of real quadraphonic surround the way it was originally intended.

Same here, didn't know the Warner Canada store had them. However they only stock Paranoid and B$B (which are the ones I wanted anyway) and the release date was July 7. Also Rhino won't let you cancel an order (what's up with that?). If Warner Canada have the ones I want in the next batch I'm definitely going that route. Even with the delayed release date their shipping is super quick as opposed to Rhino's UPS Innovations Priority Mail, which seems to be a total misnomer.

The fourth Quadio (Paranoid) arrived today. Now I can breathe.

Batch 2 update. All four have been sent to the plant (Sonopress) for replication. I should be getting check discs (think BluRay test pressings) in a couple weeks. Once those pass QC, we're off to the races again. Incredibly excited about this next set.
