4 New Quadio releases coming in June!

received all 4 discs today in Hobart Tasmania. All in pristine condition. All is well. Paranoid in one package. The other three discs in another package.

Maybe Paranoid did not trust being shipped with the other three discs.... (apologies if someone else has already said this....).

Received all yesterday in Brisbane, Australia, as well. In the same combination. I was surprised to receive them by courier rather than the standard mail. Certainly all in perfect condition on my end. Now if only I have the time to listen to them all. Loving Paranoid, of course.

That’s exactly what I was afraid of, one or both of the missing/late discs would go out of stock before they figured things out.

Damn I too wish I’d known about that Warner Canada store, could have saved another $14 getting it off them instead of the US site.
Meanwhile my Paranoid is stuck in Fontana’s Bermuda Triangle of missing $h1T!

Don't worry about the $$$. The price worked out to be almost the same (within a couple bucks) as that coupon code was not valid on the Warner Canada site.

My stuff also sat in the Fontana Triangle for about a week but did eventually find its way out. FYI your tracking will go dead once it hits the International Carrier somewhere in Canada.

That's news to me. Last I heard was fan speculation that Archives Vol. 3 was on hold because of the unexpected release of the Newport set (and now, of an anticipated recording from The Gorge). But I can't find any official announcement from WMG or Joni's website that they're discontinuing the Archives series. There have been hearsay reports on SHF from a Warners insider and hints here from @ForagingRhino, respectively, that we'd get a physical release of the Atmos mixes and one or more Joni Quadios. Whether those will be standalones or (in the case of the Quadios) part of an Archives release is anyone's guess. So far they've done separate boxes, in advance of the corresponding Archives boxes, comprising previously released albums (The Reprise Albums 1968-1972, The Asylum Albums 1972-1975).

I hope to see Joni's quad mixes as a part of the Quadio series releases in the very near future.

Maybe they will just say, aw the hell with it, and give us "Court and Spark" along with the next three other really great ones. If they could get Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper cleared for take-off, then getting Joni and another very high-profile title is not such a stretch anymore.

I saw the resemblance - yes I was there, figured logo did not need it. A very clear logo and titling that spells it out with no inside jokes, and no old tech, and tell us it is 4-CHANNEL or QUAD, or QUAD 4.0 is the fresh way to state it. 4-CHANNEL QUADIODISC is rather good too.

I give up. Anyone know how to go about getting a refund from Rhino? This has been a goddamn disaster of a roll-out.

While we were waiting for Doobies Quadio I emailed Rhino thanking them for ALL the Quadio albums from Aretha to the Doors n asked what would be next....their response was Not planning anything. I was sooo sad

Then awhile down the road announced Doobies Quad box...took a bit but we finally got it. So there is hope

Hm. Not encouraging, on the face of it. But I'm going to stay optimistic and say that that's probably their standard response for anything that's not currently listed as a Pre-Order. (And that unless the bots who answer emails at "WMG Specialty Customer Service" are a whole lot more intelligent than the bots at Rhino Customer Service, they probably don't really know much....)
