All Quad Joni is and always has been with WMG.
The current focus with her is on the Era boxes and vinyl releases.
But I feel Quadios will happen.
I quite enjoyed the two Joni Mitchell Archive Series, but Warner advises they have no plans to do more, so no chance of Quadios included there. Hopefully we'll see a Quadio boxset or individual Quadio releases soon.

That's news to me. Last I heard was fan speculation that Archives Vol. 3 was on hold because of the unexpected release of the Newport set (and now, of an anticipated recording from The Gorge). But I can't find any official announcement from WMG or Joni's website that they're discontinuing the Archives series. There have been hearsay reports on SHF from a Warners insider and hints here from @ForagingRhino, respectively, that we'd get a physical release of the Atmos mixes and one or more Joni Quadios. Whether those will be standalones or (in the case of the Quadios) part of an Archives release is anyone's guess. So far they've done separate boxes, in advance of the corresponding Archives boxes, comprising previously released albums (The Reprise Albums 1968-1972, The Asylum Albums 1972-1975).

I think information about the new Rhino Quadios should be included in the Wikipedia pages - I wasn't successful in adding a 1 sentence description about the Paranoid Quadio so I've given up trying to edit Wikipedia pages.

Maybe working with some Wikipedia Administrators from the beginning of the editing/addition process for these 4 Quadios would be helpful in getting to info to stay on the Wikipedia Pages.

Just my 2 cents...

I've not had time to go in and edit any of them. But I would start with B$B and take out the part of the sentence that states it was released on reel to reel. And add that Rhino released it in 2023 on Blu-ray as part of their Quadio series.

Did someone go in and remove your additions? On all of them, of just Paranoid?

How about this for a Quadio logo. Still preserves the original, but no reference to CD-4 or Quadradiscs

I think the issue is that the "Q" logo itself is trademarked, divorced from any associated text, and cannot legally be used by Rhino (despite the fact that it already has).

FR said that the lawyers were not worried about the logos, they were worried that someone with a CD-4 or Quadradisc system would try and play the discs through their demodulator or vintage quadraphonic quadradisc compatible system and they would not work. It's a stretch, I know, but that's what the alleged deal is/was. Fairly absurd, but these days you can't discount anyone doing anything for a buck.

Those Shibata BluRay heads are pretty rare though...............;)

Same here, didn't know the Warner Canada store had them. However they only stock Paranoid and B$B (which are the ones I wanted anyway) and the release date was July 7. Also Rhino won't let you cancel an order (what's up with that?). If Warner Canada have the ones I want in the next batch I'm definitely going that route. Even with the delayed release date their shipping is super quick as opposed to Rhino's UPS Innovations Priority Mail, which seems to be a total misnomer.
Damn I too wish I’d known about that Warner Canada store, could have saved another $14 getting it off them instead of the US site.
Meanwhile my Paranoid is stuck in Fontana’s Bermuda Triangle of missing $h1T!

It is near perfect. But what is "BD4"? If it is BluRay then I think it should not be included because it's not really well enough known format in that term. And the series could go back to DVD or another format like streaming. An all-inclusive logo is ideal imo without being disc format dependent. FOUR CHANNEL DISCREET is much more clean and more powerful and gets right to the point. Or is Blu-ray disc must be mentioned, then at end like "4-CHANNEL BLU-RAY" or 4.0 BLU-RAY DISC

But I had considered doing just what you have done and make a mock-up of the old design with new tech and logo name. Just waiting for all the dust to settle on shipping / tracking of current bundles.

(edit) To add, the QUADIO name at top must remain separated from DISC (it's its own series branding). So I think it needs to be a bit wider to reach the same width as the stove burner in size, if not the entire square around the burner.

The letter "Q" cannot be copyrighted or trademarked. And it's design as an electric stove burner style logo was used only on Warner Brothers quad product. So it cannot be claimed as belonging to JVC or any of the old developers of the CD-4 QuadraDisc.

It's was obviously purchased along with the Burbank "palm tree" label illustration by current WMG owners.

Only my most recent edit about Paranoid, the other 2 edits I did in Wikipedia many years ago (an A&M CD-4 release and an FM radio station frequency change) are still there - I think my days of trying to edit Wikipedia have come to an end.

I don't know if involving some of the Wikipedia Admins. (some sort of prior approval process) would help insure that the edits are there long term or not.
