As for shipping, you get what you pay for. I'd say they should offer a couple options on shipping at three price points. I am assuming that they went with the most economical choice, which is never the fastest, most reliable choice.

For 15.99 US to Canada I shouldn't still be waiting for one of my discs over 3 weeks later. I won't be ordering direct from Rhino again unless I'm forced into it (as Warner Canada only had two of the four titles in this batch).

I’m in the same boat. I ordered at the same time and still waiting for the same two titles. After writing them, I received a form letter that said my order was a “preorder” and that it would be released on 8-3-23.

I wrote back and mentioned that this is the release date for the UK. I’m in the USA, California. I didn’t hear back. But the last letter said tracking numbers would come when it ships.

So, evidently those of us who ordered when the Rhino website briefly said the titles were preorders, got mixed up with the UK release date. I received a refund of $13.10 for shipping.

Those of us who ordered when the website mistakenly listed those two titles as preorders--or even just before that point--certainly got snared in some kind of Catch-22, anyway. (The release date I was quoted was 7-28-23.) I still can't fathom how we can see that but Rhino and/or Gnarlywood can't, especially after all the complaints alerting them to their mistake.

I'm assuming that the simply overwhelming response to this announcement caught even RHINO off guard. And since a LOT of companies are short staffed nowadays and with the early snafus experienced on their website, these judgments in error do, unfortunately, occur.

At least the discs themselves [if and when we are in receipt of ALL of them] were NOT affected and sound magnificent.

But the silver lining is that RHINO will continue to release MORE and MORE QUADIO titles and won't be caught off guard when the next batch is announced!

And with the announcement that RHINO will offer these discs on sale to outside retailers will ensure they will reach a wider audience!

Apologies in advance for my post, but here it goes my experience so far: ordered in June 23rd, received only two shipping notifications for Paranoid and Nightmares… and Other Tales from the Vinyl Jungle. They got stuck for weeks in Fontana and today I received them, after having to pay 6 euros something for Sabbath and 9+ for the other one (whose case came cracked). In the meantime, I received a mail from Rhino refunding some expenses for having shipping the items in two parcels!
I waited until today to check if indeed the last three were coming together, but no luck.
I've just sent a mail to Rhino's support, let's see what happens next.
While I'm incredibly grateful for these Quadios happening, the purchase experience is improvable, to say the least...

Funny you should ask. While listening to Paranoid yesterday in Quad on my Yamaha I tried it through Neural: X. It sounded surprisingly good; dare I say better?

What is your setup for listening to Neural:X (I just have a 4.1 system)?

Finally received 3 of the 4 today in good condition. This was sent via UPS Mail Innovations Priority which advertises 4 - 8 business days to Canada. I ordered June 23rd and they were picked up June 28th, which comes to 17 business days and counting (for Paranoid). Not the best shipping option IMO.

Yeah, the price is high, but at least there’s a firm delivery date range given. Certainly that reassurance is worth the extra $200, right? And it’s free delivery, so there’s some extra value there.

So very hard to say. But one week after ordering you may be get the item. Or tracking within 4 days and delivery in 10.

Such a mess. Almost a month since I ordered and all I've received is Paranoid. And not a single shipping notice. I don't want to talk about shipping...I want to talk about how great they are.

Just received "your Rhino order has shipped" e-mail, so now the slow wait as they cross the pond. And fingers crossed for no import tax or charges! The Rhino order went on my credit card at just under £45, for the 2 discs less discount code plus shipping
