geeked about all 4 . Ill order all 4. But - Alice and Sabbath are already in my Surround library. Was wishing for 4 uniquies . But beggars cant be choosers, right ?

Yes they do, and have. These are well recorded and mixed albums. The master tapes here will be what shines provided they have originals to work from. The source tapes are pure “audiophile” grade imo.

Hope they have the proper quad covers. Chicago didn't, my only fault with that box.

Gold foil embossed Red Octopus, and some goodie inserts for B$B is going to be a bridge too far here, but yeah at least try and get the logos right.

Sabbath Paranoid , and Starship Red Octopus are easy guesses from those colour fonts.
The green/yellow looks similar to ZZ TOP TRES HOMBRES.

And the blue ? J Geils Nightmares.

So....that's my guess.

I'll probably buy all four just to support the program. Can't say I'm thrilled with the J. Geils and Starship/Airplane choices, but, buggerers can't be choosey.
Guess I have to find a Blu Ray play with RCA outputs.
I'm also going to have to build some kind of 4-channel switch box because I am completely out of inputs on my system.

4 solid titles, IMO.

The thing to keep in mind is that all four titles have never seen a digital Quad release before from the original Quad tapes.

The previous “Paranoid” release, although you have to respect their intent, allegedly came from a CD-4 record. And B$B, if I’m remembering correctly, was a new 5.1 mix from 20 years ago. So, yes of course, an easy buy for all 4.

If they find the tapes, AND it gets cleared for take-off then we will for sure hear about it. This one is screaming out for a Quadio format release. Like others in the series, it's a prime period album, is loaded with radio hits, and recognized as an early fan favorite, and even with sometimes odd choices of instrument placement, it rocks like hell and has good fidelity. A very solid representation of this recording. So it would be my #1 choice as a future Quadio release.

Thanks for posting up that beautiful Q4 tape box. It's so close I can just about smell and taste the big enchilada combo plate.
