Hey @beerking, in that Elton John Atmos thread you mentioned to @fredblue:
I’ve got a pretty small space overall, currently rocking a 5.2.2 setup… because of the nature of the room design, the only place I could put the overheads was sorta on the left and right of the sweet spot… and it sounds fantastic.
I have been wrestling with the fact that I could put another pair on the ceiling, but the only place I could put them is pretty close to the front L-R pair. The room is also kinda too small for me to think that any side L-R speakers would make much of a difference … and I’m wondering with the heights currently pretty much at my side, would I even hear another pair closer to the front? Would it make a huge difference?
Your comment has me wondering, ‘cause I sure don’t wanna miss any tricks.
Thoughts on the matter?
You are missing a trick there Adam.
Realise that space is tight but the difference is like night and day.
