Just listened to side 1 & side 2 (out of 6 LP's) of Metallica Garage Inc.
I'm mostly speechless at how amazing this sounds. OK, I mean to say, how amazing this sounds for a Metallica album. I own all of their CD's and I tell you, this 45RPM version absolutely demolishes any version I've heard. Thunderous bass, super clear highs and even in the quieter moments of some songs - the soundstage is super impressive.

I'm sold...if Tallica happens to release any more 45 RPM's....I'm all over it.

OK, I'm gonna bore all you non Metallica...non vinyl fans a little bit more. Holy SHIT! Side 3 is simply the song Merciful Fate. So, all you metal fans surely remember the band Merciful Fate with King Diamond on vocals. They were one of a kind...anyway, the Metallica version is nearly 12 minutes long and I have to say I've never heard metal sound this extravagant. WOW!!! If there are any fans...I'd humor discussing a FLAC version....but you will owe me. lmao

PM's are welcome....

I'm sure I'm posting this in the wrong place, but that never stopped me before.:) I'm looking for (preferably free) a database for keeping track of my music. I have the My Movies app from blu ray.com, and it works quite well for the iPad with a barcode scan and file feature for blu rays. Trouble is, it won't pick up a lot of the DVD or SACD stuff. Anyone using something that will do all the different delivery vehicles? Looking for something for iOS. Thanks!

I don't know how good it is on iOS, but I use Discogs for cataloging my collection. I really haven't found anything better than that although HRAudio could be a good resource too. :)

Stumbled upon this band while browsing new arrivals on 7digital; it somehow reminds me of Jefferson Airplane / The Doors..

Fell in love with it right away and pre-ordered their upcoming album (due on april 22nd). :music

Sadly, no surround material as of yet.

Danny Elfman - Serenada
This is a very cool disc. Someone might wanna jump on this (can't vouch for the seller, but seems like a fair price):

Well - now I KNOW Clint provides a great service to QQ since he always searches out the very best prices and options on music. But, wow - did I get TAKEN when I bought the 6LP Metallica Vinyl set. I ended up paying $98 from...well, now I can't remember where I got it. I thought that was a good price, when you consider this was 6 LP's x 45 RPM. Much less than $20 per vinyl.

Well, well, well. I was just browsing POPMarket website, and they are offering the same set for $69! :yikes

Man, what a huge difference in price. I never gave POPMarket a chance really...but man oh man. :violin

Oh man....I haven't been around this week....some personal issues I had to address...hate to hear that...I didn't know you were looking for them...maybe the next time you could mention you are in the market for an item and someone on here will probably respond...btw..the celebration of record store day this weekend for vinyl lovers is in progress.....so look around for some deals..

Well, you know how spontaneous I can be....once I saw that 6LP set, I pretty much clicked order. Geez.....never dreamed POP-M would have it so cheap. UGH...

Ok...since I love the compilation discs...another is on the horizon...certainly an unusual collection of artists on this one...and I'm not bothered in the least that it's from Hong Kong(kick the can)after my purchase of the Santana disc...here is the description...and here is the better price so far

Glad you're 'back in the saddle' Clint as I was going to send out a posse to hunt you down since we haven't heard from you in awhile. Yes, Soundboy also posted this HK comp disc on another thread and I'm certainly looking forward to it since it contains a number of choice Motown hits.
