What bothers me about the description on the acoustic sounds site is the total omission of any information about the multi channel mix..not a word..and many don't like the work of Mark Linett and he's doing the stereo mix and is listed as in charge of "audio production"...then there is the ever present Brian Wilson who is basically overseeing the mono production...is that a good thing?...I like the Beach Boys but I must confess I'm not a die hard listener and don't know much about these production people...only what I hear on the net...I wish a die hard fan would step up and give us some of their input..

Hmm...maybe you should have mentioned to Karen to fix it on their website description...because it says 5.1 multi channel HERE but I suspect Karen doesn't know that there is already a 5.1 mix available for Pet Sounds which was released on DVD-A...I suspect that she isn't the person who would know what is going on...probably an office employee who merely asked someone if they are doing a 5.1 mix and somebody said no(because they already have one)...I doubt acoustic sounds would make a mistake like that..

UGH! I'm so annoyed. I had ordered Signal to Noise CD/DVD from Amazon UK....I get home from work today and find the package....excitement! Eh, nope. Opened it and it is ANGELS The Complete Second Series DVD box set. WTF???

Now, I need to return it to Amazon UK. There are a few boxes to click, etc. Then, when I get to the end, it says I can either simply get a refund, or have them send a duplicate. Eh...duplicate of what? Of the disc I really wanted? Or will they send me the damn Angels again? Doesn't seem super clear to me...

Anyone is the US have to return an incorrect item for correct one to UK?

OK - I just asked for refund, though I had to do it through email. We'll see how good Amazon UK is.....I'm already so annoyed with them. All the years of working with Amazon US, I've never once had an issue with an order, so not sure why this was so easy to mess up on their end. Or maybe, just a single occurrence of bad luck...

I'm not familiar with the series but it gets 4.5 stars on Amazon US. Considering it is the giving time of year, could this not find its way into someone's stocking?

I have to return it to them....I have a label they sent me. Supposedly, the refund I got includes enough to pay for the return shipping...I didn't take the time yet to see if that's accurate.

I never had a return from amazon UK...so that's the way it's done...interesting...

Clint, I'm holding out for the Analogue Production versions. They are mastered by one of the best in the biz (Kevin Gray) and will contain both stereo and mono mixes. I'm optimistic that it will be worth the wait.

I'm going ahead with the SHM-SACD of Pet Sounds..it's in my present order..won't ship for awhile because I have one that has a later release date...
