Are his anniversary editions exclusively through Mascot Label Group? It's listed at Mascot but I don't remember if US vendors will eventually offer it.

Instant purchase. Just ordered the artbook through mascot. Shipping also be is 30 euros! The total was 87.84 euros. I need to slow down! I bought the bookset deluxe version upon release in 2014. I do not have “The Theater Equation.” This makes the purchase easier as I was looking for this. The 5.1 mix will be nice as well! I kinda burned out on Ayreon after this release though I do have all studio releases through “The Source.” This will be my first live video of Ayreon.

Mascot has a U.S. store. Not yet listed.

It seems it can only be pre-ordered from Mascot EU (so I'll end up paying VAT & tax gathering fee ). but the BD will not have an Atmos mix.

That's disappointing. I ordered not based on Atmos but I like the music, but 5.1 will be OK. Post #1 Arjen says he is doing in ATMOS. Maybe he will do another video with an update as to the why's and how's of Atmos being a yes or a no?

That's wild, I wonder why. Seems crazy to go through the expense of pressing and stocking and shipping Blu-rays and then not even include all the material on them. Isn't the whole point of the Blu-ray to have multiple formats? And all video material in 480p? Very weird.

The label hoped to make it available, but unfortunately none of the companies they use for mastering/authoring our bluray releases were able to work with Atmos just yet. Due to very tight production deadlines it was decided to skip the Atmos version, and go with DTS-HD Master Audio instead. This was all decided after making the video.

With regards to Apple: The label uploads the highest available resolution audio files to their digital distributor. They send everything to Apple, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, etc. What Apple does with those files after getting them from the distributor… No idea!

If this is like past releases, the video is all from the original special editions behind the scenes extras. 480p seems low res for 2003/4. But that’s what’s available.
