Which leads me to believe you are indeed in CAHOOTS ...with your accountant, AR!If one has the patience, value investing such as this always pays off!
I’m waiting for Cahoots to go down to $19.95.

Cahoots is at $43.77 now.. I don't know about it ever getting to $19.95. Might be a long wait....If one has the patience, value investing such as this always pays off!

No. Dolby Atmos is channel-agnostic. In contrast to channel-based formats like traditional single-plane quadraphonic and surround sound, Atmos is an object-based system where mix elements (objects) are placed within a hemisphere around and above the listener (but not below... yet) rather than in specific channels. An Atmos decoder will place these elements accordingly, no matter the number of channels available in the given system. I believe most Atmos mixers are using a standardized 7.2.4-channel array—that is, 7 speakers in the traditional horizontal plane (L/C/R/SL/SR/SBL/SBR), 2 independent LFE (low frequency effects) channels (i.e. subwoofers), and 4 height speakers (placed one each above L/R/SL/SR)—but an Atmos mix will play back "correctly" on as few speakers as one or as many as you can shake a stick at.Dolby Atmos is 9.1 channels?
Excellent short and concise description of Atmos, Jedi. I guess that the systems with the added wide speakers (9.2.4) are just capable of more resolution pinpointing objects in the horizontal plane? l‘ve never listened to such a system with wide speakers.No. Dolby Atmos is channel-agnostic. Diastrous News, Ryan.Bad news folks.
Ringo just showed an actual copy of the box set on his Instagram page.
I took a screenshot when he flipped the box set around to the back side.
This confirms it.
NO BLU-RAY. (NO 5.1 MIX.)
So our only hope at this point of hearing "Revolver" in surround sound would be if the Dolby Atmos mix became available for streaming, unless @PaulatSDE can somehow work a miracle and convince Apple & Universal Music to put out a limited edition Blu-Ray.
This is so upsetting. The best release of the year has now turned into the worst release of the year.

What could've been THE release of the year has now turned into DISSOLVER!
Now, would you like to know how I really feel?
Try STONE COLD Cynical! It'll probably appear on streaming, or bits of the album will, then they'll disappear, then different bits will appear, ad finitum, and you'll have to keep paying monthly just in case - or am I being too cynical?
I suspect that is a bit too warm ...................... how about 0degK or -273.15degC cynicalTry STONE COLD Cynical!
That’s a silly business plan. When enough people get pissed off, the hackers will come to the rescue, just like they did with DVD, DVD-A, SACD and Blu-ray.It'll probably appear on streaming, or bits of the album will, then they'll disappear, then different bits will appear, ad finitum, and you'll have to keep paying monthly just in case - or am I being too cynical?
Common sense in a lot of the record companies is limitedThat’s a silly business plan. When enough people get pissed off, the hackers will come to the rescue, just like they did with DVD, DVD-A, SACD and Blu-ray.
