me neither, payments gone out, no shipping confirmation as yet.. I'm giving them the 3 weeks they advised, or rather pre-warned it could take to come (in all fairness the message to that effect popped up before I checked out the order, so I still could have cancelled at that stage).. if in another couple of weeks it hasn't materialised then I'll drop them a line :)

I didn't get a shipping notice (e-mail) but on the website it says my order has shipped...
 
I think us surround nuts won the Lottery when Richard LaBonte decided to launch Music Valet and give Surround Music a massive injection boost kick up the ass! :D

if you have the luxury to live in a country Music Valet ships to! Obviously Germany is not on the list of lucky countries .......

Mr LaBonte has so far been very attentive in responding to messages from QQ members referring to Music Valet encompassing shipping to the likes of Norway, etc., so perhaps you could PM him here and ask him if Music Valet could add Germany to the countries they ship to?

Stange, in days of global trading, that certain record companies refuse to benefit from customers abroad. But Music Valet aren´t the only ones; Monster Music won´t ship to Europe (they don´t even bother to reply to mails) or HD Tracks, who blame copyright issues.
But I´m not desperate to buy this record. I´ll just have to refrain to my 10.000+ record collection to immerse myself in music .......
 
I dont think they "refuse" to do it, Its a company that is starting and in the meantime is adding countries to shipping options as they get quotes for shipping.

In the case of HD Tracks. Im in Chile and Im buying like crazy.

Just use an USA mail address and pay with paypal.

Im using my chilean credit card for buying with paypal and gave an address from someone I know in the US and have bought plety of albums.

with respect nobody's asking you to beg for it to be shipped to your country.

This Music Valet initiative is a brand new very exciting enterprise. as such there are bound to be teething problems at the outset which will have to be overcome and until such time they will have to be tolerated by anyone affected. it's the constant prevail of the "early adopter", it's seldom straight-forward or easy making these things happen and sometimes you just have to be pro-active.

it's your call of course but the people at Music Valet are not making you beg. they're seemingly very open to catering to as many interested parties from as many countries around the world as possible (as I said earlier they have opened up shipping to all sorts of countries they had to all intents and purposes unintentionally overlooked. they're not going to get everything right from word "Go" but they are trying abd they are receptive and this is just one way where we at QQ come in.

one email to Richard LaBonte and your surround collection could grow to 10,001 titles (and then some in the future). by so doing, other surround music customers in Germany could enhance their collections at the same time.. and the whole endeavour will be a great success.

that's the essence of community, thats what we're all about here, spreading the word and helping like-minded people to get more surround music to enjoy.

making an approach to a record label that listens to their customers is key to the furtherment of the whole campaign but its your call. It's when they don't listen or care that I get impatient and then get mad..! :)
 
Well said Adam. Mr. Labonte already added a few countries to his webshop. When Germany is not added yet, he will probably do so soon. It is a strange comment from Four Rules to make about Music Valet. It is definitely not the same as Monster Music, who do not care about customers outside the USA. Music Valtet does, as shown by Richard's comments and actions.

I ordered mine on 3rd May, e-mail saying shipped on 6th, and it was here when I got back today. Having never heard of them before, I like the mix and the album, which sounds to me of a cross between World Party and the Jayhawks, which is not a bad thing.
 
Was this from BTE's website. Kap'n ? I ordered from there on May,4th, not had any update, e : mailed yesterday, no response as yet. Not very impressed ! ( Wish I had ordered through Music Valet, now. )

postie's been and gone today, no sign of the BTE DVD-A.

I only ordered from the band's website after Music Valet's site rejected all 3 of my perfectly valid email addresses saying they are invalid..! :mad:@:

I'm starting to wish I hadn't bothered either now! I'm giving BTE another week and then I'll get onto them.

This seems quite odd as I had what I would consider to be an exemplorary service from Music Valet. I ordered on the 28th April (from Music Valet with a registration) got a shipping notice on the 6th May and it was delivered (to the UK) on the 9th May.

If it's any consolation; it's worth persisting with as I think it's a great disc.

Thanks Neil :) Unfortunately both Rob and I ordered from BTE's own band site. :(
 
I thought I had registerd on the BTE website, but I cannot log in and resetting password does not give me an email with instructions. So apparently I did not register. Mike (LK) said his copy was sent, I assume all other orders are on their way too.

a little confirmation would be nice :)

I totally agree! how hard is it to send one little email with a status update?

one more "working week" and I'm emailing BTE.

that said, it wouldn't be the first time my cards been debited and no 5.1 disc has turned up!

I don't even now if they've taken payment ? Does anyone know whom the transaction is paid to ?
