Please please more 70-74 in surround. Then maybe Berlin era. The 'plastic soul' 75/76 period never did a lot for me I must confess.

Just received a copy today that I bought from Discogs for $26 shipped. Really looking forward to listening tonight.

There is a bit of 'distortion' to the mix, but its great to hear the backup singers and some good separation of instruments. Bowies voice is perfect.

Maybe they could find that missing bit at the end of "Fame".

It’s relatively minor, but some of the backup vocals are a bit raspy. You’d have to listen to it to get your own opinion.

That "missing Fame" is an odd one. Maybe a joke by Bowie.

Was Bowie even involved with the previous surround mix?

The quad mix was done in 1975, but I cannot find when it was first released. I got my copy in 2002, and being such a perfectionist/artist, bowie must have been involved in the remix.
