After seeing that image of the back of the box, I'm now REALLY excited about this release! :)

Me too. I ordered the 3 disc set with DVD-A along with these 3 just a couple days ago from AmazonUK:

Yes - The Yes Album (blu-ray)
Ian Anderson - Homo Erraticus (DVD-A)
Katatonia - Dethroned and Uncrowned (DVD-A) - been in my cart for ages

Fifty quid including shipping to Aus. (My first surround order for new discs in 2014)

I just love seeing the MLP, Advanced Resolution & DVD-Audio logo's all sat next to Sony Music...

plus, that grid with the DVD disc format info looks strangely reminiscent of the King Crimson DVD-A's.. ;)

I assume this will be the back cover of the box set? Either way, this is a very very very(yep, three verys) nice offering. Like most here, I own the treasured BSS DVD-A from 2002 so I am really waiting for Trilogy in 5.1, but I dare say the lads did a spectacular job here and I will be buying the 6 disc set in a New York minute. Though I would have liked "When the Apple Blossoms Bloom..." in 5.1. I like that track.

ELP's original Razor & Tie announcement was to release the first 6 ELP records. I really hope they do exactly that. But at minimum, if we get Trilogy I will consider we have died and gone to Heaven. I still love what Steven did with "ELP" & Tarkus, so having all 4 classic ELP in discrete 5.1 will be beyond words!

Welcome Back Indeed!

Does 'The Endless Enigma' of 'The Sheriff' produce the 'Trilogy' of 'Hoedown', 'Fugue', or 'Abaddon's Bolero' or does 'From The Beginning' give 'Living Sin'! .............madness strikes @:

I changed my purchase for the 3 disc box (from ELP's store) by the 7 disc box (from Amazon) : good deal !!!

Now I'm waiting the 14th may, during this time… I just got 2 BluRay Pure Audio (dts Master Audio 5.1) :
"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (Sir Elton…) : damned, what a remix… better than the SACD !!!!!!!!
and "England selling by the Pound" (the historic Genesis) : the sound is as good as the SACD, no more !

Oh great. Casually browsing this thread just cost me another 25 bucks. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for reaffirming my purchase. I've enjoyed the SACD for years.

You're welcome :) for reasons I don't understand (I'm not tecchy) the new Blu sounds smoother and less bright than the SACDs, the rears better integrated and balanced with the fronts.. I love it! the Stereo is also light years better than the 2003 SACDs.

the only negatives about the Blu-ray, for me, are the lack of the 4 bonus tracks (Candle ITW Acoustic mix, Screw You, Whenever You're Ready, Jack Rabbit) which are absent in both 2.0 & 5.1 and the "fade-up" goofball on the intro of Social Disease - the whole song is at the same volume from start to finish unlike every other version I've heard the last 20 years +..!!

Amazon uk date is a lot earlier

Got the same email, oh well I can still listen to the CD, SACD, DVD-A, and LP. I feel like I should find an 8-Track to complete my media...

After a lot of thought I have cancelled the deluxe edition I pre-ordere for only £40 and pre-ordered the 3 disc version for (after tax) £9 + postage.
The price difference was the sealer. The deluxe version has vinyl I don't play and a DVD that seems I already have as well. The booklet apparently is only 20 pages in the deluxe box. Although it is 12" x 12".
I need to be realistic with the £30 price difference. £30 is $60 AU

Looks like an amazing set! Can't wait! :)
