Someone with more knowledge of this issue should check me on this; but this is what I see from the 2024 release for the song "Flight Test"

I think you can see quite clearly from this that the LFE is late compared to the front three channels (where presumably most of the bass is). You'd need a phase correlation meter to get it precise, but the peak on the LFE track at the end of the highlighted section should like up roughly with the peak in the Center channel at the beginning of the highlighted section.

For me the “cover art, animated slightly” ones are nice, nicer than a static image, but…
I think the visualizer here suits the music.

Yes, it has the LFE delayed 5ms relative to the rest of the channels.
