I guess I'm an outlier, but I like standard, blue (or whatever color) Blu Ray cases. Hardly any worries about damage. They do take up some space, though, and aren't especially cheap compared to regular jewel cases.
I bought a case of slim black DVD plastic cases a few years ago, and transferred a bunch of DVD's to them. Like BD cases, too tall, but I can always lay them down in the racks and they are pretty small, width wise. Problem is more with labeling, or lack of on the spines, and face it, they ain't pretty.

A bunch of discs here, a bunch there, pretty soon you're talking major storage problems.

When I was building my room, media storage was a major concern, and I have enough space along one side of the room for LPs (see avatar), gear, and digital disc storage IN DRAWERS. There are pics of those drawers in my build thread. The DVD drawers required some shaving of the edges of the drawer box sides, and fortunately, I’m not an amputee as a result of that saw work. It’s working well for me so far, although I predict I will be cullling some movies a couple of years from now.

The one and only disc case i really liked was the kind that came from Neil Young , on his Harvest DVD-A.
I wish we had true container influence , but in the meantime I take what is offered.

Now back to Quad Requests from Rhino...

Anyone else up for a couple of James Taylor quads...
James Taylor Gorilla..and... In The Pocket.

No love for One Man Dog?

Sorry I don't keep up with what's out there in Rhino's catalog. Is there a listing here somewhere of every possible Quad they could / would produce?
I have bought all the Quadio's so far though.

I could go for Jackson Browne, wouldn't be surprised if they released another Gordon Lightfoot title, Seals & Crofts makes sense and so does a Joni Mitchell title since they just have released her Asylum Years cd set. The sole James Taylor title listed above would also be welcomed by ME! Thoughts...

I can’t recall if I’ve asked this before and will probably feel stupid when it’s explained, but what does CNX stand for in that list of quad titles?

(And if I have asked and been told before, I’ll feel great shame in fact that I probably felt stupid then and get to re-live it again now.)

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it stands for "canceled".
