I just went to the Rhino shop site and the 4CD/1BD set is still listed as $119.98, but the 5LP+BD set is listed at $199.98. I wonder if there isn't some confusion about these sets and prices. $200 for it is an insane rip-off. $120 for the digital disc set is a rip-off as well, just not quite as insane. In any case, I'm not worrying about prices until we are much closer to the release date and get more info about the quality of what is being offered.

I hope PG considers him to mix his solo catalog in atmos. I will wait to purchase Lamb until I hear it.

I can see and smell what will occur with Scamazon. I ordered it at 109 clams. At some point they will declare this part number invalid. Cancel all orders. Then re-enter the item under a new part number and at a new, much higher price. Ive NEVER liked that Scamazon does not recognize items via UPC

Currently Amazon is listing the 4cd/1bd set for $119.98 and the 5lp/1bd set for $199.98. Matches the listings on Rhino. The prices on Rhino are probably fixed, but I expect everywhere else to fluctuate until closer to the release date.

It's not the box set, and it contains no surround, but Analogue Productions' Atlantic 75th Anniversary series release of The Lamb on hybrid stereo SACD is now in stock at Acoustic Sounds.

I had that on preorder. But I cancelled that order as the Atmos blu ray box set appeals to me more!

I am really excited about this Lamb release, one of my all-time favorite albums without a doubt! The Rhino free poster sold me! Even though I'm listening in 5.1 and can't enjoy Atmos I'm betting the new mix will sound awesome being that it's happening at Real World under PG's supervision.

Doesn’t the box set include a poster? Is the poster that Rhino is advertising different? I’d pay a few extra dollars for an extra poster, but it would be nice to have more details about poster in the box vs Rhino poster.

Somewhat curious that we don't have any photos showing what the whole box looks like plus all the contents. Usually they like to splash photos showing the open box with all the discs and goodies spread out around it to make you drool. Currently we just have a cover image.

I was hoping the final packaging would be shown on 11-22, the day of the announcement. There was such a build up for the 22nd, but pre-order links started appear days before which was fine with me but I hoping for a grand announcement but instead it's a grand parade of lifeless packaging.

Maybe so, but given the printing and production lag times, not to mention supply chain issues, I'd be very surprised if they were still figuring out basic contents and design this close to the release date. I saw a random video by an analog audiophile and Phil Collins/Genesis fan youtuber who raised a lot of similar questions about why so many details about the box and contents were still 'under wraps' so to speak. He also brought up the fact that there have been a lot of expensive, remastered Japanese and Analogue Productions LP's of Lamb (and the rest of the Genesis catalog) released recently and wondered if this new reissue would actually encourage anyone to buy it yet again. For him, the Atmos mix was not a selling point. Bottom line, he would not be rushing to preorder it.
