Yep, B&W ....there is one more option to return everything to factory settings in the manual...I may try that, see if it takes and run the update again in case it was some glitch. It certainly can dissuade one from staring at the video portion when you are playing a music disc! John S.

John, besides the video portion of a music disc, does the player now play dvd videos, (Godfather, etc.) in B&W as well?
