This comp covers all the hits from this local bands most successful years (‘86 to ‘00) with the four tracks from their 3 Warner Brothers albums re-recorded. They had some really good songs, big here in Canada.
The sound here is variable depending on who produced, for the most part it’s good.

I can't remember the last time I listened to this butt kicking album.
I bought the LP back in the day and then later the CD. I have both the LP needle drop
and the CD rip on my HD now. I forgot how much I always loved this one, the hell of gettin old.
But listening now it's like a whole new experience. LOL

I think Ian Hunter’s debut album is one of the greatest of all time, what an opening
“Allo”

Everybody Loves a Happy Ending

Interesting album, plenty of Beatles references (especially the Come Together bit in track 5).
Not their best but a decent album.
A bit disappointed by the compressed sound, their earlier stuff sounded much better.

How wonderful this covers album is! Even Supper's Ready sounds fresh all over again, though I've heard it a zillion times from Genesis and Hackett.

Came across this Chris Isaac CD ...... The Baja Sessions also HDCD encoded. Says FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY ..don't know if it was officially released as a bona fide HDCD disc!

Nope! Don’t have that one. Anyway, I can no longer experience HDCD anyway because I pipe my HDMI signal directly into my Denon AVR that isn’t HDCD compatible.

All my OPPOs up to the 105 have HDCD capability but the 205 swapped HDCD for MQA ..... Go Figure!

Actually, that’s not what happened. MQA was an afterthought. HDCD was dropped from the newer chipset.

Some of Audio Fidelity's 24K Gold HDCD releases were not actually HDCD encoded because my little red light failed to light up! Bummer, Ricky!

BTW, neither my Meridian 800 nor 808 support HDCD!
