Nancy Wilson LUSH LIFE [Capitol Records/reissue produced by Michael Cuscuna] I grew up listening to Ella, Sassy, Billy Holiday and Dinah Washington among others but this very special album by Miss Wilson belongs in the parthenon of Jazz Greats. With arrangements by Billy May and Oliver Nelson and with Buster Williams on upright Bass and Shelly Manne on drums, this remains one of my very favs. Exquisite production values as well....audiophile all the way. VERY Highest Recommendation

Lush Life, Primary, 1 of 6
Lush Life, Secondary, 2 of 6

Waves are crashing on the sea
Lens flashing on how it should be
Some are reaching for the gun
Some are searching for the sun

Love has found another way
I knew it would make it some how yeah
We will find a better way for making love
And love (and love) has found a way
And love...

Toyah - Solo

Bought this box set on a whim 3 years ago where it sat in my pile until now.
All I knew were her funny videos with Fripp.
I am gobsmacked.
Most of these albums are fantastic IMHO, and with the exception of the last one, sound fabulous.
Wow

No Pussyfooting
Disc 2
The Heavenly Music Corporation. Half speed
Swastika Girls. Reversed

There is no other album like this.
I bought this on LP when it was released, and then when it appeared on the double CD, its unique, just so plain strange, I love it!
