The Soul Searchers - Salt of the Earth

The Toyah is a great album, includes a 2nd CD with live tracks, remixes etc., and a DVD

Twilley has some really good songs, sound is fine, not bad/not good. I like his stuff but still don’t quite get the adulation some feel for him.

The Soul Searchers album is very good as is the sound.

saw them in 1986. They were on fire. One of the best shows Ive ever seen

These MQA CD's sound great. I'm listening to them as regular CD's as I have no way to "unfold" them. They seem to have a bit more "analogue" sound than do other releases.

I totally agree with you. Lots of people on QQ like to debate the pros and cons of MQA, I don't.
I do know that they are re-mastered from some cat in Japan, I forget his name, he's always on the liner notes, mastered from DSD masters, whatever that means?
What I am trying to get at, is yes just as a RBCD, they sound really good as a level of care was put into them for release.
Japan was pumping them out pretty regular and that has slowed down now, due to the sale of MQA and others might say the demise.
Glad you like them as I do to.

There are several more MQA tiles that I have my eye on but they are becoming scarce so the price has gone away up.:( I do have Rare Earth "Get Ready" on order.:D
