Getting close to album length territory, wonder if it will actually get collected as an album or if I should put together a playlist…

The Alanis Morissette album that’s been in the spatial section for the better part of a month finally is in Atmos!

Haven’t gotten to it yet, but this contemporary classical release from today also seems promising.

and not to make 3 posts back to back, but seems like today Apple's launching a new initiative called Apple Music Sessions (well... not really new when iTunes Sessions has existed since iTunes existed and we've seen a bit of this with the Home Sessions series, but still)

Sounds like the core of it is Apple inviting artists into their studios around the world and asking them to do their favorite songs of theirs and or covers. And since Apple is all in on Atmos, they're in Atmos.

Sadly the launch artists are two I have no interest in, but maybe someone here will get a kick out of them.

I've also noticed they've been putting up the audio recordings of their other new initiative Apple Music Live in Atmos, which seems like a logical extension of them hosting Kanye's Donda Disasters Donda Listening Parties (which were often like 3 hours late due to... Kanye being Kanye)

Listening at work, Tidal, stereo new ANTHRAX Greatest Hits called XL. I am a fringe listener to Anthrax, pick and choose what I like, but my favorite album by them, every track I love, The Sound Of White Noise, nothing made it to this new release.

I listened to War of The Worlds last night. I can confirm it is a new Atmos mix, not the 5.1 , 5.1 upmixed. By the sounds of it I would say from the multitracks, not stems. Some of it is marvelous, some is not so great. Overall I suggest listening and judging for yourself. I would be interested to hear the thoughts of others on this.

I played the first 3/4s of the album. I must have heard the marvelous part. Very well done IMO. Lots of effects from the heights. Demo material actually. Highly recommended.

Checking out some of the NINA SIMONE FEELING GOOD title, seems the Remixes are like Techno/Synth custom mixes. Perhaps just utilizing Simone's vocals, and the rest re-imagined. Even her vocals are often processed. A little in the rears.

My Baby Just Cares For Me uses one of her less enthusiastic tempos, very disappointing for me

Kylie album Disco listed in the Pop category of spatial audio on Apple. When you go to the album it isn’t Atmos. Curious!

Is Toto's The Seventh One playing in Atmos for anyone on Apple Music? It's marked Atmos, but playing all as stereo for me. Are we back to the bug where it plays stereo if something is in your collection?

Seems like, last night I looked for Floating Points & Pharoah Sanders - Promises, and it showed the Atmos logo, and not a single track was in atmos. :S

According to this week's Rhino newsletter, Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" is now streaming in Atmos. (Last week, the group's 1981 debut album went platinum.)

Seems like, last night I looked for Floating Points & Pharoah Sanders - Promises, and it showed the Atmos logo, and not a single track was in atmos. :S

That FP&PS also showed the Atmos logo for me, but played in stereo. That one's -not- in my personal library, so maybe this is just mislabeling or streaming bug.

Nearly every album I click on is showing as Atmos now, including many that are obviously not. My firmware is up-to-date and I restarted my AppleTV and it still happens.
