Listening to in Dolby Atmos Streaming, via Tidal/Apple/Amazon

I just tried and was able to play God Put A Smile Upon Your Face without any issues. I'm in the U.S.

Have you tried deleting the album from your library, then adding it back? Sometimes that helps when things get glitchy.

Thanks. I should have thought of that. Problem was that I had a ripped or purchased version from years ago in my Itunes library that was somehow overwriting this version. I deleted the iTunes file(s), added them again on my phone, played it on my Mac first (it worked) and now all is hunky dory. Thanks again for the very useful tip. Weird it played all the others.

I've really been looking forward to this one but it's not available in the US on Tidal. I hope that's a temporary glitch.

Otherwise, nice job Universal! First you cancel the SDE Atmos BDA, now we can't even listen to the streaming version? At least they didn't screw over the band's homeland fans.

just tried over 20 (yes, twenty!) different versions of The Pretenders' "Brass In Pocket" on Apple Music UK and yes you guessed it, not one of them's in Atmos!

edit: no Frankie Valli available here either, although i'm not that bothered about that track as its bound to be an Atmos concoction!

speaking of concoctions, has anyone worked out what the dickens is going on in the Atmos of "Ventura Highway"? are those double tracked vocals? it all sounds so different from both the rather lovely original Stereo and Scheiner's masterful 5.1 and not for the better!

I know! It's like they were handed a multitrack session with two takes of the lead vocal and forgot to mute one.
