I mean, it has so many good moments. Knowing (IMO) that what you hear with streaming often gets greatly improved with a physical release....I'd say this title would be a home run.Great news! I was scared to ask about it in fear of disappointment.
Given that Styx themselves (or UMe) released their 2018 album The Mission in a CD/Blu-ray package with surround, perhaps we should look to them instead. Then again, 2021's Crash of the Crown received no such physical surround release (though it may be on streaming).Listened to all of Styx, Paradise Theatre. It flat out rocks, and sounds great. Sheesh. If SDE could release this one as number 27, I would SHAT my pants. Really. It's that good.
There is no Atmos mix of Crash of the Crown on Apple Music. However, there was a (not very good) Atmos version of "Renegade" that's seemingly since been pulled.2021's Crash of the Crown received no such physical surround release (though it may be on streaming).
I know somebody posted about this when it came out a month or so ago, but I can't find it. Anyway: I really like this album.
And Burnett is on World Cafe talking about it:
The second track from the Trifecta gets my listening vote.Very happy to trip over this one:

VERY, VERY well done! There should be no disappointment with this mix. I hope the rest of STYX is remixed to Atmos!Ooooh I can’t wait to get home and hear this!!
Is it possible to know who did the mix?Listened to all of Styx, Paradise Theatre. It flat out rocks, and sounds great. Sheesh. If SDE could release this one as number 27, I would SHAT my pants. Really. It's that good.
Post in thread 'Listening to in Dolby Atmos Streaming, via Tidal/Apple/Amazon'Is it possible to know who did the mix?
When something is said to be really good I like to note the mixer for future projects. I’m not the biggest Styx fan.
