Really enjoying both the content and mix on this album from fellow Aussies.

You don’t see many albums get the magical Apple star treatment on their first seven tracks (the 5th is an interlude that is a track type that rarely qualifies).

A generous offering too at 1 hr 37 mins.

NIce laid back music for a Monday morning.

I know for some it's a little early for Christmas music, but Jamie Cullum's sensational "The Pianoman at Christmas" got a Dolby Atmos upgrade. The complete edition comes out in a couple weeks and no word on the Atmos status of that one (apparently a bunch of the new tracks were cut live straight to tape, so my guess is those wont be) but either way, if you want to get into the holiday spirit in surround sound this is a great release! On track 4-5 and I'm loving it. Music is awesome, mixing is amazing, production is top notch. Overall a solid 10.
They remind me at times of Daft Punk - Get Lucky

This is a fantastic album & mix, dare I say only 6 tracks in. As I do with everything I love, im going to pick it apart. The bass could be more punchy. I have to turn my subwoofer up for just this album. Anyone else?

Regarding Daft Punk, my thoughts exactly and this may explain it! (short story is they are singed to Daft Punk's label and worked with Daft Punk on their final produced song before their split earlier this year). Parcels (band) - Wikipedia

Working with Daft Punk[edit]
The release of Clockscared caught the attention of Parisian label Kitsuné,[25] which signed the band in 2015.

In 2016, Parcels played their first show in France at Paris' Les Bains bar with Daft Punk in the audience.[26] The duo invited Parcels to their studio.[2] Parcels say that they had not initially planned to create a song with Daft Punk, "it was just like, let's get creative together and see what happens".[27]

The band showed Daft Punk an early demo of "Overnight" which they agreed to work on.[26] The track was in production for over the course of a year with many studio trips and months in the studio. In an interview on the process, Parcel's keyboardist Patrick Hetherington said that "First we spent seven days in the studio with them, every day from 12 midday up until 4 in the morning, literally working on it overnight."[28]

On 21 June 2017, Parcels released single "Overnight" with production and co-writing credits from Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The single entered the French charts at position 62, and remained for 11 weeks.[29] The song ended up being Daft Punk's final song produced together prior to the duo's split in 2021.[30]

The single was not listed on the band's following album Parcels, with the band stating that "including it would've felt dishonest to the rest of the record," noting that the time between recording the tracks on their debut and "Overnight" was two years difference and would taint the historical "snapshot" of the album.[18]

We keep saying 'can it get any better'?
Here is one example where it sure can.
Agree with everything you've said..
This is on repeat!!

One of the songs had some moments with seriously deep bass.

I thought the bass was full and juicy, and real deep in places.

BADBADNOTGOOD, Talk Memory. This Toronto-based band got a reputation as self-styled enfants terribles of the jazz world when they busted out a decade or so ago, but that was sort of a distraction. They're into both jazz and hip-hop, and they bring those strains together in a more organically convincing way than most people who've tried it. This album is dreamier, more psychedelic, more symphonic. If you like Flying Lotus--or Terrace Martin, who guests on one track--check it out.
