There were some great issues in that series...I was "over the moon" (space station joke)with the Patsy Cline disc and I don't even like country music...her voice was incredible

Love the way Acoustic Sound to this day still sell those single layered Stereo SHM~SACDs at $59.95 LIST. I do have a few of those single layer VENUS JAZZ SACDs only because I was able to purchase them from Deep Discount's bargain bin for about $15 each. The recordings are great but the repertoire questionable. Wish they had more AP Stereo titles for sale. Acoustic Sounds last BIG sale included a shitload of AP titles for a full 50% off.....that's when I really stocked up. Some good deals on Intervention Records Stereo SACDs [$19.50 each].

Thanks to RANG, I did manage to add 6 SACD titles to my collection .....and did qualify for free s/h. I do recall, when Acoustic Sounds did have their blow out 50% off sale, they did add s/h costs because of the nature of that sale [about $16] so it all balanced out!

And I did add one VENUS Jazz title [Eddie Higgins Trio "Dear Old Stockholm"]
