The Prestige All Stars - All Night Long

The first of the AP Mono Prestige series that didn’t totally thrill me. The music is very good (as opposed to great) and the sound quality a notch below the norm.
Enjoyable album that I’m happy to have, it’s just not quite up to the level of the others I’ve heard so far.

That’s funny - just yesterday I played this for the first time using “fake surround” courtesy of my Yamaha receiver- and came to the same conclusion!
Some SACD’s really sound good that way…
