I'm patiently waiting for a 5.1 release for this. It would be travesty if it doesn't get one, given how wonderful Sea Change is in 5.1--one of my favs.

absolutely! tho i was not patient...especially for the price i paid...and will suffice until i hope an eventual 5.1 release. Love Sea Change also...when i first heard it on utube i didn't think much of it. then a friend loaned me his blu ray and immediately i was blown away! awesome stuff :sun

well...must admit i was unaware! but you prompted me to read the poll thread. having the vinyl in the 70s and not hearing it for 30 some years..there's too much nostalgia involved and i kinda just get lost in it!...not paying much attention to what was coming from where...tho at one point i did think it was odd that vocals were so heavy in the surrounds...i don't have the capabilities to make a 'fixed' copy...reversing the channels is very much a PITA but might try it.....unless.....

i would gladly PAY some kind person who has the capabilities and would make me a corrected disc??!

i didn't make a disc, just converted to multichannel flac 24/96 using soundforge and dvd audio ripper. Playback on pc. Hated the 5.1 mix for many years until I stumbled on that thread. Much Improvement.

I spun up a couple I haven't listened to in awhile. Chicago Transit Authority's debut album from Rhino, a Quadio DTS disc and America Homecoming on DVD-A. Homecoming is a fantastic listen, great mix, warmth, and so crystal clear, need to play that one more often. CTA is enjoyable too, except for Free Form Guitar. I need to remember to keep the remote handy so I can press SKIP a little faster next time.
