obscure but cool stuff (hey , I LIKE this disc, maybe a bit dark here and there, but I like it!!!)
Living Coloür-Collideoscope DVD-A
If you like them it's definitely worth getting,,,and it's usually cheap!!!(don't pay more than 10-15 USD)
The mix is not spectacular, there are way worse out three..and just to have them playing "Back in Black" is worth the price...
(I am a very big fan, been following them since their 1st LP, saw them in Madrid in '91 with Buzz (loudest concert I have EVER been to) and later in 2008 with Doug -first row in front of him..he is the most pro of them all...)
A day off...@ home listening to surround..back hurting only when I'm not lying down...
CLASSICS TIME (not CLASSICAL , maybe that will come later!)
KING CRIMSON- LIZARD DVD-A
Followed by ..
BEATLES-Love DVA-A (let's see if I get to like these mashups...the full songs are mouth watering!!!)
Xandria - Ravenhart (MCH-SACD)
also a very rare SACD from Germany. Musicwise it is symphonic/gothic metal...somewhere in the direction Nightwish or Paradise Lost.
I got the Xandria SACD earlier this year (it had been on my sa-cd.net wishlist a while and then found a German seller on eBay with multiple new copies for a decent price).. initial impressions were that the surround mix was ok but it was a bright, thin recording with rather low production values.. still, I need to listen some more.. I knew it was quite tricky to find but didn't realise it was very rare![]()
