when i was a high school engl-ish teacher, my students and i would begin class by reciting "the definite dozen." now, because i'm an addict whose drug of choice is MORE, my definite dozen had 13 items. we began with an overarching statement that laid the foundation for the next 12 statements:

Discipline yourself so that no one else has to.

I hope listening to Discipline in the wee small hours of the mo(u)rning gives me thie discipline i need!

Oh, end this day, set me in motion! I take several classes on Monday. I leave before the mail arrives and return home around 9 pm. Last Monday, my wife presented me with 10 packages and asked if this were a normal occurrence. I told her it was not. Today, I returned home late cuz of a traffic jam, and I was not greeted by her smiling face. Turns out a dozen packages were delivered. She asked me if I was only telling a lie. I assured her I was not--told her honesty is the secret o' life. I then suggested I could be her handy man. Bad idea. I'm thinking soon I'll be facing another grey morning. Thought some music might salve my soul. One of the discs that arrived is
