If your a fan of the band I believe you will find the music most pleasing. Personally, I've found the album a nice 'return to form' after two sub-par releases. The surround mix is pretty good and at times very discrete with action swirling around the room. I do turn up the side surrounds +3db to balance things out a bit. The bottom end does the job and I can't imagine one being disappointed.

DT is releasing the the Blu Ray on a CD/Blu Ray package so you don't have to splurge on the Earbook edition now to get the surround album. At $16, it's a no-brainer.
Thanks for that weekendtoy. Other than the DVD-A disc, I haven't owned any DT. At $16, it's a buy. After all, walls need shaking and I regularly bump the surrounds up a bit.

Edisonbaggins [Mike] posted that Disc two of this three disc DVD set did not play on two of his Universal Players. Clint Eastwood also mentioned it in a previous post.

I'm happy to report that disc 2 plays fine in my OPPO 205. I was only going to watch a few minutes to ascertain whether it played .. or not...and became so enmeshed in the excellence of the music, videos and discrete surround I ended up playing the entire 84 minute side and am currently watching one of the bonuses on the disc "Chaos at Abbey Road" in which Paul sitting alone with his guitar at Abbey Road Studios relates why the Beatles decided to write their own songs and the creative process which McCartney and Lennon employed writing their songs.

I had heard that disc 2 was remastered after numerous complaints from disgruntled purchasers. I did purchase the set used, like new, in June of 2018 from an AmazonUS third party vendor ...... I guess I lucked out receiving a remastered disc 2.
