Listening to Now (In Surround) - Volume 2

I have the Frantic SACD, as well. It's likely little more than a PCM-DSD transfer of the DVD-A release, I suppose. Doubt I'd ever be able to hear a difference between the two.

Listened to last night (in surround): the D~V SACD of Art Garfunkel's Angel Clare LP. Very nice, indeed.

I like the Frantic SACD but the DR ratings are poor.
I have noticed something is a little off.
Compressed?

I have the M/C SACD of Frantic. How does the DVDA compare?

I have NO idea .... haven't got the SACD but the MLP DVD~A on my system sounds SUPERB!

XTC - Oranges & Lemons; BDA LPCM 5.1
Having never really heard XTC until this amazing series that basically feature a boxset of content on a Blu-ray along with Wilson surround remixes at a reasonable price, I was totally thrown for a loop. Although I realize that long standing XTC fans don’t love O&L as much as some of their other releases, as a newbie I dig it as much as any of the others in the series and feel that it’s not only a great Brit pop album, but that Wilson kills the mix. Wish I’d caught these guys back in the day because they capture that Beatles vibe in a modern way as well as anyone.

Can’t wait for the upcoming Dukes/Wilson release!
