I'll be very surprised if the 49'rs don't win it this year Pups. What a transformation they have had...been having a tough few years, recently.
I usually stay up to watch it....although it's on late here in the UK....so the nodding dog might take over.

But if the Niners win, that will mean that Brady’s former heir apparent, Porn Star Jimmy G, wins the Super Bowl. Geez, can’t get Belichick out of it even when he’s not in it!

I just picked it up today while browsing around my local jazz record shop. There it was, sitting front & center on the shelf. Couldn't resist! The SQ-decoded mix sounds pretty good.

Price should not be a factor in getting a poll or not. This is new music and to me it's good music and an OK mix.
DV are cheap,but much of it is cheap music to me.I'll rather pay more for music that I like.

i'm sorry that there isn't a Poll for it at this time and i am not having a go at you, however it feels like a bit of an unfair potshot at DV

i'd like to respectfully counter the suggestion that artists such as..

Argent, Art Garfunkel, Billy Paul, Blood Sweat & Tears, Charlie Rich, Chase, Deodato, Donald Byrd, Earth Wind & Fire, George Benson, Guess Who, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Henry Mancini, Herbie Hancock, Johnnie Taylor, MFSB, Michel Legrand, O'Jays, Poco, Return To Forever, Rick Derringer, Ronnie Milsap, Tomita, Tower Of Power, Weather Report, etc..

..are "cheap" because to me the DV Quads released so far are a rich varied selection of quality music by many artists of repute.

none of it is current music, some of it is musically "of its time" and the mixes too are 40-odd years old when studio technology was perhaps less advanced in some respects than it is now.

everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course and one man's trash is another man's treasure for sure

it just seems a bit harsh maybe to demean DV's product because you don't yet have a Poll for something you enjoy more?

I suppose the overriding question is, who actually gets to decide which releases are given a poll rating?
And is there a process where fellow members can recommend releases?
And is there a separate thread, solely for that purpose, to save duplication.
There are quite a few releases which are not listed at all.
These and many more questions, are part of the true meaning of life...

It is definitely a factor regarding how many people buy the release (fewer). That will directly cause fewer votes in a poll.
And there are those who do factor overall value in to their vote.

Not that I know of. Just random "can we get a poll for this" posts. PMing a mod is the surest way they'll know we want a poll. @rtbluray is pretty good about it.

If I'm not familiar with the music I always check out some songs on YouTube before purchasing.
Then it's my decision.....
