oh its just an old component video switch i had from years ago before i got a component video capable AVR. its very klunky and crude and possibly on its last legs but while it works for switching the 4.0 & 5.1 RCA based sources i'll keep exploiting it til it fails/falls to bits!

I have many of the DV's you mention,and many are very good.I burnt myself several times by buying after reading glowing reviews here on QQ,just to discover that it's not for me.Some members are very panegyric in their glowing descriptions. (I,m not naming names.)

I suppose the overriding question is, who actually gets to decide which releases are given a poll rating?
And is there a process where fellow members can recommend releases?
And is there a separate thread, solely for that purpose, to save duplication.
There are quite a few releases which are not listed at all.
These and many more questions, are part of the true meaning of life...

I'm wondering if this is not a question to pose to @Angie ? I love the idea of a thread where we could post requests for poll threads. Lapsing into Latin, with In Cauda Venenum, I'm still not sure why there is no poll thread. If there were a poll thread, this amazing review from @skherbeck would be readily available without having to search through pages upon pages. Also, I do listen to releases on youtube before buying, but I first seek out poll threads: members comment not only on the music, but also the fidelity and the mix--for me, the threads are invaluable. Finally, we have 8 polls for other Opeth releases; they have informed my purchasing decisions . . . if only we had had a poll thread for Sorceress . . . oy!

Couldnt agree more Clem....I think it's an area that needs addressing, although it wasnt my intention to flood the Mods with requests...well, just the odd one or two..a day!!

i don't own any Elvis Quads i stopped buying Quad LPs and tapes by the time i got around to The King from my wishlist.. and DV were doing their thing by then so i hoped they might do some Elvis Quad burgers.. so far, my calculated Elvis risk hasn't paid off!

That explains Adam’s Brexit from quad LP and tape purchasing. Good luck to all of us with the hope(slim chance) that DV gets the rights to Elvis’ quad catalog.
