Do you have Cheating the Polygraph?Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band - Swingin For The Fences.
My fav of the BPB 5.1 recordings and something I love to turn up and rock to.
A shame we don't have more big band recordings. What a platform to highlight both multich and high fidelity recordings.
AF gave us some good appetizers with their run of Quad SACDs. Now D-V has taken the reins and is serving up incredible 2-for-one blue plate specials of these tasty treats. Oh yeah! I can’t control my drooling.I will always consider the late 60s and early 70's as a golden age in R/B, Rock, Pop and the origins of the singer songwriter....and consider these superb D~V SACDs not as acquisitions but as GIFTS.
And the very fact that D~V IS on a ROLL whets my appetite even more for music from an era I fear we'll never quite return to again!
No, I'll give it a listenDo you have Cheating the Polygraph?
Oh dear Pups. Great game though for us neutered ones!! Chiefs have had this knack for clawing back from the brink of a defeat, in the post season. Also in honor of a crappy Super Bowl (cause the Niners got robbed by bad officiating - two blown calls, one obvious off sides by the Chiefs and a missed call on holding down field on a receiver!- wah, wah wah.) I launched outa that mess.

I have this one, too! Many, many great musicians.
I'm wondering if this is not a question to pose to @Angie ? I love the idea of a thread where we could post requests for poll threads. Lapsing into Latin, with In Cauda Venenum, I'm still not sure why there is no poll thread. If there were a poll thread, this amazing review from @skherbeck would be readily available without having to search through pages upon pages. Also, I do listen to releases on youtube before buying, but I first seek out poll threads: members comment not only on the music, but also the fidelity and the mix--for me, the threads are invaluable. Finally, we have 8 polls for other Opeth releases; they have informed my purchasing decisions . . . if only we had had a poll thread for Sorceress . . . oy!
You're right again Mike, every time "a best of this", or "favorite that", comes up, this one gets forgotten, always a favorite of mine. Too bad they're OOP and expensive now.Are there many better than this one?
To get your foot tapping and head nodding, superb in very way.
