Sorry for the late response. Although the concert was filmed in HD, so far it has only been released on a 2 DVD set with 5.1 Dolby Digital (448kbps). It is pretty much a standard live mix for the most part, with very wide separation of all the different instruments in the fronts, with maybe a little wraparound of keyboards, effects, backing vocals, etc. here and there, but the fidelity is really excellent with deep and punchy bass, considering it's just DD.
The performances are absolutely astounding if you're familiar with Frank's music. I just can't believe how well they pulled off all of the material on here. There are also special guests with Napoleon Murphy Brock performing pretty much the whole show, and Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio come out for the second half of the show and just destroy it.
The show is also three and a half hours long! It can be had for less than $10 on >Amazon<. If you like Zappa, this is just one of the best things ever!
Edit: I just heard some discrete surround stuff going on at the beginning of Inca Roads. The keyboard sound effects moved all the way around the room. Here's the set list:

The Moody Blues Seventh Sojourn
my wife, whose ears are 11 years younger than mine and who has never abused them the way i've abused mine, said no contest. sacd all the way. end of discussion. i don't question my wife's judgment, and i will never again question RAM proclamations. i prostrate myself at your clinique slathered feet, oh @4-earredwonder; may my devotion to you ne'er be torn asunder
