Actually I'm bit jealous of you rt, having a legitimate snowed in weekend to just lounge and listen\watch to whatever you like.
Nice!

Well I'm supposed to be back at work tomorrow at 4pm, but I'll have to see if I can actually make it there.
But today was a good day for surround with lots of Steven Wilson and David Bowie. :)

It's good, but I think I still prefer the original "Deadwing" version as recorded by Porcupine Tree. My favorite track is a toss-up between "My Book of Regrets" and "Happiness III". :)

Never heard the PT version, I must look it up. Agreed, My Book Of Regrets is a great way to start the album....lots to like here, has me looking forward to his next full album :)

Listened to America's "Hearts" very quickly, and will listen to all songs completely tomorrow. So far, I really like what I am hearing. Good imaging, lifelike vocals. None of the flatness of, for example, the quad Loggins and Messina. Nice.

Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Symphony No.6
Nutcracker Suite

Orchestre de Paris
Seiji Ozawa (conductor)

I think you'll find that the other half of the tracks that you don't like will get better as you play them more, whichever ones those are. For me the ones that took the most effort and listens to enjoy were the instrumentals, but especially "Year of the Plague" and "Sunday Rain Sets In".

I have only heard the FLAC stereo files so far. I like it a lot. Shame Steven couldn't add a few live tracks to fill it out a bit more.

The 5.1 Upmix of Steely Dan - Aja is good

Last Night I listened to the Sono Luminus BD~A/RBCD release of Zofo Plays [the music of] Terry Riley http://hraudio.net/showmusic.php?title=10625

Excellent in every conceivable way.

It's 7:30 AM on the East Coast and we're now experiencing "the blizzard of 2016!" Should be an ideal day to catch up on my pile of unplayed SACDs/RBCDs and watch some of the BD~Vs I've been putting off viewing for some time.

Having fun in the snow, Ralphie? I haven't picked that Zofo title up yet. Recently, I find myself preoccupied with PentaTone's 4.0 remaster SACDs. But I was thinking of you while playing Bissie's Okko Kamu - Sibelius SACD box set. That one should suit the mood over there.

Or this one...http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2wkdko

Stay safe!

I think the reason there aren't any live tracks on this release is that Steven's planning to release a full live album/film from the HCE/4.5 tour. This is different than the "Drive Home" EP in that even though they filmed an entire show on the Raven tour in Germany, there were no plans to release the entire show, so some of the best highlights made their way onto the "Drive Home" EP.
