How's the surround mix, Rick? Never heard of them but the AmazonUS reviews are VERY positive!

very very deep bass. there is a fair amount of discrete. I was - actually - pleasantly surprised by this. My tired mind is trying to find a band comparison for reference but Im running on empty at the moment and am brain dead.

I've had 'The Very Best of The Searchers' for several years -- bought mostly for the fond memories of my early teenage 'British Invasion' AM radio listening passion.

The first 5 cuts in particular are songs from a time I cherish.

And The Searchers' cover version of "Love Potion #9" forever knocks me out!

A rarity, this one. The Searchers had a hit with the cover version of probably the most romantic song ever written, "When You Walk In the Room" by Jacquie DeShannon, as well as "Sweets For My Sweet". I took a chance with this, as it is from the dreaded Silverline, but it is one of their really good releases...

As someone who owns a number of Silverline DVD-A discs, I guess I'm far more forgiving of the label's quirks than most, thus not much in agreement with the "dreaded" qualifier.

But fully in agreement that this disc is a "really good release."
