DJ Trixta - 6 Deck Mix DD DVD

This is a DJ live mixing beats from 6 dub plates - so he's creating a new mix of a track live. This was given away free with DJ magazine in 2003. It is quite fun to see/ hear but it only lasts 12 mins (though there are some stereo extras). The DD sound is absolutely fine but nothing special.

The mix is discrete and even has some panning, but there is not enough rear action - it feels like stereo with bits added on top from time to time. (I don't think the 5.1 mix was done live, so it's not like that is an excuse.)

So only buy if you see it cheap. (I waited until the price was not much more than the cost of postage.)

Thanks to QQ I have come from being a casual Tull fan to a dedicated Tull fan. Never saw them live. I wonder how many times they came to San Francisco?
