Hardly as 'catchy' and memorable as their previous efforts but Steve Wilson's 5.1 remix elevates it considerably. I'm sure the ATMOS mix is incredible! But upon second listen, it will grow on you and you will appreciate the production design and be treated to those whimsical musical flourishes extant on TfF's previous albums.

In the end EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD... BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN ..... AND WHO WANTS THE JOB ....ANYWAY?

I'd be totaly remiss if I didn't express how brilliant D~V's 2 QUAD SACD set TROUBLE IN TAHITI and CANDIDE are presented via stunning Discrete tour de force performances. The former is a contemporary Opera in one act composed and conducted by Leonard Bernstein himself and the latter conducted by John Mauceri, music by Leonard Bernstein with lyrics by Richard Wilbur with additional lyrics by Stephen Sondheim & John Latouche.

Sonically, the recordings are exemplary on every level and it's as if you're in the center of both productions. Larry Keyes remixed Trouble in Tahiti and Raymond Moore Candide.

I will say it here and now.....the six February 2022 D~V Classical QUAD SACD releases contain some of THE best music and QUAD recodings I have heard in ages. Hours and hours of sheer excellence!

Boulez/New York Philharmonic Orchestra conducts WAGNER [Dutton EPOCH Historic QUAD SACD Two~Fer] By eliminating the CD layer on Tracks 5~11, Michael Dutton has managed to lavish us with over 95 minutes of exquisite and sonically satisfying discrete QUADRAPHONIC music, QUAD remix by Raymond Moore.

James Galway SHOWPIECES/THE MAGIC FLUTE OF JAMES GALWAY [Dutton Epoch QUAD SACD two~fer] Michael J. Dutton secured the original RCA RED SEAL Multi track master tapes and turned water into wine by remixing them into QUAD with stunning results. A high recommendation!
