I had to get the cool Darkone skin too - after seeing Jan and GOS pictures

Tom Waits sounds really great with the SpecWeb upmix. It sounds more "discrete" than many of my "real" surround discs. Tom are singing from the right surround for most of the songs - weird and great!

It seems to work best with music that has not to much "wall of sound".

Yes, for the sacd's I need a friend though, the rest I rip myself. I'm travelling a lot and in the past I had more bags with me containing discs than stuff I really needed, like clothing and stuff. Now I only need one computer bag and have everything with me, even enough clothing , oh and my travel equipment for playing it all ofcourse, but I also needed that with all them discs.

This disc really shows off what high-res can do for audio. It has that thick rich sound, like a studio master tape in playing back in your living room. Just amazing I think.

You already have the best SD/DF albums in surround IMHO, but if you want more, try to find Fagen's "Morph the Cat" for an affordable price. It can be tricky, but if it comes along, go for it! You won't regret it!

Magenta - Metamorphosis, dvd DD 5.1. I like this, good prog rock. The surround is nice, missing a little power in the bass.
