Just finished converting the hd tracks Dream Theater, impressive separation! The first song has sounds only coming from rear left and/or right. Listening to the other songs now first time. SpecWeb (and it's helper :)) certainly beats plII on my Logitech set.

I Specwebbed Blackout earlier tonight, Always Somewhere sounds pretty good - but the rest of the album not so much.

I always thought Tom Waits would sound great in surround. So I gave Mule Variations the treatment - wow - there are weird sounds coming from all around. This is great!

Thanks for listening. Can you repost a link to that Foobar skin please?

You're welcome, I'll leave the detailled comments to people who are better at that than me (almost everyone I think :)). One thing I can say is that I like the drums on this much more than on the M.O.T.H Disturbing the Universe 5.1 mix. Foobar DarkOne Skin.

Thanks for the link and for the feedback. You may be happy to learn that a new mix of DtU will be posted soon.

Yes, if you rightclick on the seekbar (waveform as you call it) when you're playing a file "configure" appears, click on it and you should see this:

The spectogram should open by default if you selected it I think, I never have to change anything.
